We created a basic travel guide for you while visiting Japan. This will help you with planning all your upcoming trips and adventures.
Prioritize, Organize, and Navigate with Ease
Before visiting Japan, we recommend creating a list of cities and places you want to visit and see. The list will surely be long so to help your planning process, you should organize the places into scale from “1” that you want to see the most to “Last”. You should also consider the distance, although the Japanese train system is incredible you should always plan as the trains may be fully booked or tickets only available in advance. Japanese train booking systems are easy to use and tourist-friendly so don’t worry.

Essentials Only. Avoid Overweight Luggage and Enjoy Souvenir Shopping
After you make a plan, we strongly recommend bringing only belongings that are considered a must-have. For example, basic clothes, medication, hygiene, and things that you just need for your daily existence. As you will be spending some time in Japan you will for sure buy souvenirs and food and you don’t want to deal with an overweight suitcase. All airlines have their unique rules but the most common one is maximally 23 kilograms (50,7 pounds) for one passenger. In this situation we suggest buying a small carry-on suitcase, they are not so expensive, and the quality is amazing.

Stay Near Train Stations and Convenience Stores for Ultimate Ease
Suitable accommodation is up to you and your needs, but we advise you to choose ones close to the train station and convenience stores as you can never make a mistake with those. Luckily these two are usually very close to each other as hotel owners are aware of this need.

Ready, Set, Go
Now you have a list, your suitcase is ready for food and souvenirs you are going to get and the hotel you chose is great and convenient, now it’s time to go. This all will make your traveling smooth and flexible in any kind of situation.
